The NGCB rejected both complaints; neither of the claimants appeared at the hearings in person.<\/p>\n<p>Avraham Orloff alleged Resorts World Las Vegas owed him $250,000 from a casino poker playing session. Board member George Assad concluded that Orloff misinterpreted the rules. Orloff thought the payout was $500,000 based on his $1,000 stake, but Assad explained that the payout is actually an aggregate amount at the table.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>the board concluded the machine did not tilt and was fully operational at the time<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The other case involved a man named Glen Avilla who claimed he won $678,587 when playing a slot machine at the Grand Sierra Resort &amp; Casino in Reno but didn\u2019t receive a payout because the machine malfunctioned.
