(Image: X\/Twitter\/@BillKrackman)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While watching the UNLV Rebels beat the San Diego State Aztecs 41-20 on Saturday night, wrote Las Vegas-based professional sports bettor Bill \u201cKrackman\u201d Krackomberger <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BillKrackman\/status\/1858338558739910955\">in a tweet<\/a> the next day, a friend of his found out the expensive way how much Allegiant charges for food ordered to a VIP box.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"main-blockquote\">\n<p>Never realized what it was going to cost for this slop,\u201d Krackomberger wrote in his caption to photos of the pizza, the wings, and the receipt in question. \u201cThey treat the luxury suite guests like they are in a club with bottle service.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_336144\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-336144\" data-style=\"width: 430px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-post-thumbnail-430xAUTO wp-image-336144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/receipt-430x656.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"656\" \/><figcaption>This is the receipt that Krackman tweeted. (Image: X\/Twitter\/@BillKrackman)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The breakdown for the food, as served to the box by Krystal H., was as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$300 for a pepperoni pizza pie (at $50 per slice when tax and fees are factored in)<\/li>\n<li>$190 for chicken tenders<\/li>\n<li>$112 for an \u201cadministrative charge\u201d<\/li>\n<li>$50.48 for sales tax<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>And That Was Before a Tip!<\/h2>\n<p>As per the receipt, the 23% administrative charge \u201cis not a tip or gratuity and is not distributed to service employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Twitter went out of its mind, and rightly so. Three hours after Krackman posted his tweet, it had earned a steadily growing 575K views and a cavalcade of angry comments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnbelievable, disgraceful,\u201d commented @RadekBob.<\/p>\n<p>Added @Onemanwolfepack: \u201cIsn\u2019t the point of a box that it comes with free food and drinks (usually alcoholic beverages even)? At least from my experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe grift is that if you blink at the price, everyone knows you\u2019re not a real baller,\u201d commented @ProximalAI. \u201c$653 is the cost of maintaining the illusion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Added @USA4DT24: \u201cThat\u2019s why Mark Davis\u2019 net worth has tripled since moving the Raiders and building that stadium, cause it sure as hell has nothing to do with the team,\u201d added<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"main-blockquote\">\n<p>If this isn\u2019t an example of what\u2019s wrong with Vegas right now then give me a better example of what is,\u201d commented @DaveHarris87606.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Added @vegas_visual: \u201cThe cherry on top is that the facility where this took place is heavily subsidized by the public for the benefit of a billionaire owner and dozens of millionaire employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know what the answer to fix this is, but if you are going to hit me with a service charge, I\u2019m not going to tip,\u201d commented @LoanNinja. \u201cI know how unpopular a statement that is. But, in order to get behaviors changed by management, the front line people are going to have to bear some of the short.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll close with our favorite comment so far, from: @hoops_scout11: \u201cBurnt crust.
